The Orillia/Muskoka Fall Colours Safari

September 18th to October 06th

For those who think Muskoka Fall Colours are the best in Canada!

Day One: 2:00 PM: See a performance of our new Vera Lynn Musical Review, ‘A Nightingale Sang.’

4:30 PM: Check into the Best Western PLUS Mariposa Inn & Conference Centre, eat a delicious dinner in the Grape & Olive, Wine and MartiniBistro.

Day Two: Eat breakfast in the hotel dining room, then set off for Bracebridge, enjoying the
spectacular fall colours enroute. (Map provided for the best views).

12:00 NOON: Arrive in scenic Bracebridge in the heart of Muskoka. Welcome aboard the Lady Muskoka to enjoy an unforgettable cruise down the Muskoka River, before sailing past the worldfamous Millionaire’s Row on Lake Muskoka. A delectable lunch featuring roast chicken, salmon or ribs, (your choice), served during the cruise.

2:45 PM: Head for home.

The Orillia Fall Colours Festival!

September 18th to October 06th

For those want their Fall Colours while sampling all that Orillia has to offer!

Day One: 11:00 PM: Arrive at the OPP General Headquarters and visit the OPP Museum, a fascinating look at policing in Ontario, with many interesting exhibits and vintage vehicles.

12:00 NOON: Eat a tasty luncheon in the Steak Out, the OPP staff restaurant.

2:00 PM: See a performance of our new Vera Lynn Musical Review, ‘A Nightingale Sang.’

4:30 PM: Check into the Best Western PLUS Mariposa Inn & Conference Centre, eat a delicious dinner in the Grape & Olive, Wine and Martini Bistro. (There is an evening shuttle service to Casino Rama).

Day Two:
Eat Breakfast in the hotel dining room, then head out to the Leacock Museum and National Historic Site at 10:30
AM, for a 1/2 presentation by Leacock expert and humourist Jim Foster and a tour of Leacock’s summer home.

12:00 NOON: Then to the heart of Orillia’s Downtown to lunch at the Mariposa Market, an old fashioned country store with a Canada-wide reputation! Then you can shop and stroll down to the town dock for your cruise.

2:15 PM: Our concluding event is a 2.5 hour Fall colours cruise on the Island Princess, leaving from the town dock and touring Lake Couchiching and Simcoe. See the Captains famous retractable Wheel House which allows us under the Atherley Narrows Bridge  and out onto Lake Simcoe. It’s a fitting way to complete a wonderful stay in the Sunshine City!

4:45 PM: Head for home.
